PETA, a self-proclaimed animal rights activist group, does absolutely nothing of the sort. Thousands of animals, all perfectly adoptable, have been euthanized without even given a chance for redemption. To be exact, PETA has killed more than 25,000 adoptable dogs and cats in its care since 1998. Since 2003, roughly 97% of all PETA's taken in animals to be "adopted" have been euthanized in less than 24 hours. PETA claims to be enthusiastic in finding animal's homes, when it is one of their least-finished "priorities". Not only that, but PETA's "shelter" consists of three rooms, which don't even meet it's own shelter guidelines an Please, for the sake of the innocent animals that could be saved, don't let PETA be declared an animal rights group.
