end the plan to prohibit medications bought and sent from Canada. These result from the extremely high cost in the US.

Created by R.C. on September 12, 2012

Medical patients in the United States encounter extremely high costs of medications prescribed for their treatment.
Many are simply unable to afford the cost. Some choose to do without or to use partial doses for their treatment in order to stretch out the supply. That is inadequate treatment. Others seek lower cost of the same quality of medications and find it Canada. Pharmacies there are supervised and licensed by the Canadian Government thus insuring equal quality to medications purchased in the United States. The proposal to impound shipments and thus stop them is dangerous to the health of our citizens. Yes, American drug companies do offer financial help. Generally, it is of a token amount and has limitations that are not helpful. Canada is the only reasonable alternative. Please!
