End police brutality nation wide by putting in place an act that punishes officers for excessive and deadly force.

Our country is in dire need of an act that protects citizens from excessive force as well as deadly force used in situations where it is unwarranted. I propose an act that will ensure that law enforcement officials handle interactions with civilians in a profession manner and mandate that they use the correct tactics needed for any interactions they may have. This act would state that any unwarranted violence against an unarmed civilian including excessive and deadly force will automatically result in the loss of the officers job as well as facing the maximum sentence for any criminal acts committed while on duty. We as a people need this to protect is from abuse of the power bestowed upon law enforcement officials.
