End police hiring techniques that discriminate based upon intelligence.

Created by A.W. on December 01, 2014

Currently, police departments across the United States are using discriminatory hiring practices in regards to a candidate's intelligence and job aptitude.

Many police departments in the United States have candidates take a Wonderlic Cognative Ability Test prior to being hired. The test assesses the aptitude of prospective officers in learning and problem solving.

As of right now, police departments are allowed to discriminate against, and not hire, those who score highly on the test.

By not hiring the most intelligent candidates, the overall intelligence and aptitude of police departments are decreased. When police officers lack intelligence, they cannot properly assess situations and make poor decisions, such as killing unarmed, young black males.

Put an end to stupid police.
