In 2008, the Romeike family fled their German homeland to avoid religious persecution.
What had they done? They had exercised their freedom as humans and as Christians and decided to homeschool their children.
The Department of Homeland Security is seeking to deny them political asylum, wrongly arguing that homeschooling is not a right.
If deported, the Romeike family will lose custody of their children to a statist and repressive government which will seek to brainwash them into compliance with their wishes.
Anyone, religious or not, who values their freedom to make their own decisions, should support this persecuted family.
