End political deadlock and create a new vote casting system via the internet.

Created by D.C. on December 28, 2012

The American voting system is obviously outdated by today's standards and is in dire need of an overhaul to dismantle political deadlock. I am proposing an internet based voting system that would allow for the American people to let their voices be heard. It would be based on a weighted average system whereas the people's vote would constitute for a third of the overall votes on any given issue. In politically deadlocked situations, if the Congress/Senate could not reach an agreement within 30 days before a deadline, then Congress/Senate would be stripped of their pay and voting rights for the 30 day period and the American people's online votes would decide the fate of the issue.
