In the Corporate world when an employee commits a crime or breaks the corporate policy, they are fired and loose benefits according to the Corporate policy.
When Government employees or Military personnel commit crimes or fireable offenses, they are given an easy way out (retirement) and allowed full benefits.
What kind of message does that send?
