It is time to eliminate the outdated practice of switching between "standard" and "daylight savings" time. Not all states participate, creating confusion for commerce, transportation, etc. Improved coordination of interstate commerce and a reduction in lost productivity as businesses and families have to readjust their schedules twice per year will have a positive impact upon the nation.
There is no environmental advantage to Daylight Savings time, since the energy use needed to produce artificial light is simple switched from the evening to the morning hours.
