End the practice of killing American citizens abroad without Due Process of law.

Created by J.A. on February 05, 2013

On or about 2/5/13 a Dept. of Justice "White Paper" was leaked to the press. This document provides a "legal" rationale for the killing of American citizens that are suspected of leadership roles in terrorist groups. While we understand the need to combat terrorism, it should not be at the expense of our dearest rights and liberties. The U.S. Constitution requires that before an American citizen is deprived of life, liberty, or property, the government must ensure that the citizen is granted Due Process. We demand that these safeguards be restored. We ask that you recognize that when the Constitution is violated, we are all victims. Futhermore, We the People demand that the President make clear that only a court of law and a jury of citizens can condemn an American citizen to death.
