The arbitrary change to and from Daylight Saving Time is an unnecessary and burdensome practice. Since the adoption of DST a very small number of people have benefited and almost every single other person in this country has been adversely affected. Let us as a society decide that March 9th, 2014 will be the last time we adjust our clocks for a seasonal one hour change, leaving this nation on Daylight Saving Time permanently.
