Recently schools have been taking school lunches away from children when their parents have failed to pay their school lunch debt. This practice cannot be continued, especially when a lunch that has already been distributed has been taken away and thrown out rather than letting a child eat. This not only wastes the food entirely but causes embarrassment and hunger for the child in question. Schools cannot be allowed to engage in this behavior. This is blaming the child and making them suffer unnecessarily.
