end the presence of special interest groups in Washington by making campaign donations and funding anonymous.

Created by Q.L. on June 27, 2013

Right now it feels like our government (regardless of party affiliation) is run solely by special interests, corporations, and lobbyists. I propose that we remove the corrupting power of these entities by making all campaign funding (including donations) completely anonymous.

Included in that bill would be policies that strictly enforce a no-conflict-of-interest clause. During an official's tenure in office, they shall not be allowed to accept gifts (monetary or otherwise) that could, in any way, impact policy decisions.

At the very least, we need a substantial reform in the way in which government officials are influenced by these powerful groups.

It's time our government started working for us, the people of the United States--the general populous--rather than these powerful groups.
