End the prohibition of Marijuana

Created by J.L. on December 25, 2015

The federal prohibition against Marijuana has gone on for far too long. Like the prohibition of alcohol, the prohibition of Marijuana has done far more harm than it has done good. It is a fact that Marijuana is a cornerstone of the cartels income. Marijuana is a relatively harmless drug with exponential medical benifits that has very high profit margins that the government could use to build schools; make healthcare cheaper; fix the American physical infrastructure; increase jobs in every field; as well as help on so many other financial and economical problems that our great country faces. This is a single industry that can save the federal and local government billions of dollars from prosecution of harmless offenders and at the same time produce billions of dollars more in tax revenue.
