End the prohibition of Marijuana and Hemp.

Created by J.K. on December 12, 2013

Since the 1920's, the united states has banned the manufacturing of hemp, and any use of marijuana. In those days, marijuana was considered evil, and people thought that it made you violent. These ideas are obviously skewed, and its time for a reform. There are much less health risks with the use of marijuana than there is with mainstream drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Hemp on the other hand, isn't even a drug, and is illegal simply due to marijuana being illegal. Hemp can be used to make fabric, paper, plastics, and the oils derived from it are very healthy to eat. Why should such a versatile plant be so illegal?
