A petition to end the statutory and criminal prohibition of marihuana & to affect policies to be enacted regulating and taxing it in a fashion similar to that of other vices, ie. alcohol, tobacco, etc.
Also, consider issuing an executive pardon to citizens charged, convicted, incarcerated, etc... with violating the laws related to the simple possession of marijuana for personal consumption.
Earmark revenues generated via taxation for deficit reduction.
Grant non-incorporated farmers of marihuana, or farms employing less than 20 people, or farmers netting less than a prescribed profit; an agricultural exemption to foster the development of the cash crop & its' legitimacy.
