This petition is simple. End prosecutorial immunity. Why are these men and woman that hold powerfull offices protected from we the people. If a physician or a nurse makes a mistake we are held accountable criminally and civilly. Prosecuting attorney's have no fear of making mistakes or misconduct whether intentionally or unintentionally. There needs to be accountability in all offices and professions. Their excuse is they don't want to perform there jobs in fear. Well welcome to the real world. Physicians, Nurses and police officers work every second in fear of being sued or wrongfully accused of something. This step will definitely begin the reform that is needed in our criminal justice system. No one is above the law. Well they are with prosecutorial immunity. Thank you.
