Puppy mills are dog breeding operations where profit is placed above the well-being of animals. Animals are bred without consideration of genetic quality, which produces generations of dogs with unchecked hereditary defects. Also, the animals living at these puppy mills are not taken care of, meaning: they got little to no water or food, they live in their own waste and the other animal's waste that they are caged with, their "kennels" are stacked on top of each or in close quarters with no bedding so their paws are constantly on the metal which hurts them, the dogs are all placed in the same kennels, and they do not receive any medical attention. Puppy mills are inhumane and cruel, help us end puppy mills!
