Puppy mills are farms where dogs are kept in small cages. They only have enough room to turn around in the same place. The dogs are rarely fed or given water. The cages are never cleaned which can lead to diseases for the dogs, such as losing sight or another ability. This can even lead to death. The dogs are put in cages to breed. The new puppies are sold to dog stores. The dogs who were the breeders are used like that their entire lives. It is legal everywhere. This is for Project PAC, or Proper Animal Conditions.
