Recently, Federal law enforcement has made a direct push to close Medical Marijuana dispensaries, and the IRS has targeted them as if they were criminals and gangsters. These are tax-paying businesses which provide a much needed service to people who are not helped by dangerous pharmaceuticals (which often have scores of potential side effects, including death).
Also, funding and permission for testing of Cannabis for medical purposes has been suppressed. Testing is very limited, and usually has the narrow goal of only seeking negative side effects. It's time to let qualified researchers test this plant that has been part of the human pharmacy since pre-Biblical times.
