End the recognition of holidays that divide people in favor of an American History month.

Created by M.H. on April 05, 2014

Draft legislation to outlaw the recognition of any holiday or dedication that emphasizes and encourages the separation of people by creating artificial walls between people of various races, ethnicity, genders, sexual persuasions, religious affiliations, political stance or economic groups. Examples would be Latin american history month, African American History month, Jewish History Month, Federal recognition of religious holidays (i.e., Christmas) and the like. Instead, establish an American History month, that emphasizes the positive achievements of ALL Americans and our contribution to the security, safety and growth of the planet, without reference to our differences. We must end the propagation of separation and thus hatred, focusing instead on our common ground.
