END REEFER MADNESS AND MARIJUANA PERSECUTIONS. ACCEPT THAT PROHIBITION OF MARIJUANA WAS DEEPLY FLAWED AT ONSET, IN 1937.

Created by B.K. on December 01, 2012

We The People ask for redress for the harms incurred as a result of /and regarding the laws and regulations enacted during the past 75+ years creating Prohibition of the use, possession, and farming of the plant, cannabis (sativa, indica, other): initially based on a law enacted in 1937, called the Marihuana Tax Act which was found to be Unconstitutional in the 1960's. We ask that the findings presented by Raymond P. Shafer, 1972, in the report commissioned by then President Richard Nixon, entitled: "Marijuana, A Signal of Misunderstanding", by the National Commission on Marihuana and Drug Abuse be revisited. All persecutions and harm done since that finding was presented should be remedied. All laws should be based on sound scientific and humanitarian principles. Stop the Hurt!
