End religious (or lack thereof) discrimination when considering candidates for election into office.

Created by A.L. on September 22, 2011

It has become a common trend for candidates to be required to believe in god in order to be considered for a political office. This is in violation to the first amendment which states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". Even the American population has voted solely based on a candidates personal beliefs. It would be best if religious affiliation may not be publicly announced when a candidate for any office be presented.
