Since the National Firearms Act, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotgun, and silencers, have been deemed to require extra legal paperwork, and a $200 tax stamp to allow legal ownership. This law has no effect on crimes committed with these weapons, as criminals do not follow laws, and do not register firearms. These rules and laws place an unnecessary burden on gun owners around the nation. Deregulating these firearms would allow many firearm enthusiasts to legally and responsibly enjoy these types of firearms. Although these types of weapons should have a minimum age requirement of 21, they should not be placed under extra scrutiny, and a $200 tax. Please allow responsible, legal gun enthusiasts to enjoy these category of weapons/
