The recent Russian invasion of sovereign Ukrainian territory and the EU's lacklustre response, the 2008 Russian invasion of Georgia, Venezuelan imperialism in South America and support by the Saudi and Iranian government for terrorism all have one thing in common: these nations dominate global energy markets.
America sits on an enormous amount of natural gas and we also are able to produce a great deal of coal and oil. These are all resources that the world will need well into the 21st century. New advances in drilling technology could boast America's economy, create jobs & take power away from the petro-dictatorships.
I am calling on the Obama Administration to cease it's obstructionist delays in the approval of the Keystone pipeline and to open up more federal lands to drilling.
