Having lifted the ban on women fighting in combat positions in times of war, it's time to lift the ban on women registering with the Selective Service at the age of 18. I have two sons and a daughter. My oldest just turned 18. While I am optimistic that a draft will never happen again, I am left wondering why we only require men to register. Where's the gender equality in that? Eliminate the registration or include women. Plain and simple.
