All members of Congress and their staffs, the President, Vice-President and their staffs, and all appointed positions in the Federal Government shall have their pay and wages lowered to the prevailing minimum wage of $7.25 without benefits for the duration of the Sequester. It is clear to most Americans that Washington is broken. The only way to fix Washington is to make those in charge of our government - a government supposedly of the people, by the people, and for the people - to be more like the people. Since the White House and Congress clearly believe that $7.25 is a livable wage let's have all of them live on it until the sequester ends. Maybe then we will see some truly bipartisan action take place in Washington. We are sick and tired of Washington and its antics. Serve the People!
