January 2016 New York Times reports that 12 immigrant children housed in a detention center in Texas were “released to human traffickers”. First let’s use the proper name for people who kidnap, sell, rape and eventually dispose of children. Pedophiles, rapists, murderers? One word will do: slavers. As for “released”—these 12 kids have been doomed by the action of a US government agency.
Tragically they are not alone. The NYT has estimated between 100,000-300,000 minors are enslaved in the United States and trafficked for sex. It has been reported that some children are forced to service as many as 40 "clients" in a day. Conservatively then between 100,000-4,000,000 child rapists benefit from living and working in the United States while raping its most vital resource, our children.
