Congress deserves a complete overhaul. But sometimes little actions serve as catalysts to real, effective change. That is why I believe that changing the seating arrangements in Congress - and organizing members alphabetically – would be a step in the right direction of reducing party tensions and increasing bipartisan activity.
I understand that this is far from a solution for all decision –making in Congress. But it feels like a smart first step. And maybe that’s exactly what we need.
