end the slaughter of innocent civilians by motor vehicles.

Created by B.D. on December 14, 2012

From 1990 through 2009 approximately 41,000 innocent civilians per year were slaughtered by motor vehicles. The senseless loss of life caused by motor vehicles, more than 4.5 times the number caused by gun violence, is supported by the powerful and greedy motor vehicle lobby and affiliated unions. These killing machines are allowed to be owned and operated by those over the age of 16 without regard to public safety. Congress must pass strict laws regulating the manufacture and use of motor vehicles to prevent any further tragic and unnecessary deaths. We need sensible driver’s privilege regulations to keep all but certified emergency personnel and government officials from operating motor vehicles. The time has come to act and stop vehicular homocides.
