Every American has the right to defend him/herself if they so choose and can legally obtain a Concealed Carry Permit. Criminals and those who have decided to hurt civilians have already made up there mind, and no sign or law will stop them. after all, they are already breaking the law. This is not a petition to end nor defend the "assault weapon ban" but to allow legally owned firearms from being left in cars or at home when clearly they are needed inside malls, libraries, movie theaters, and possibly schools if you are a staff member or parent. Legalize carry anywhere without armed security or police presence.
