The US Appeals Court has issued a writ requiring the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to make a decision on the application to store nuclear waste in Yucca Mountain in the Nevada desert just north of Las Vegas. This site has been proven to be scientifically unsafe and environmentally unsound. President Obama needs to end the speculation of the possible use of this site. Deny the application. Reject Yucca Mountain as a nuclear waste dump site.
