end spending tens of millions of taxpayers dollars to put up house and senate members in DC. Send them home!

It is 2013 there is no reason the taxpayer should have to pay the bill to the Senate and House to live in DC. We have other forms of communication like the phone and secure Intranets. It is a waste of taxpayers dollars and makes our representatives holding to DC politics instead of people. If they had to spend the majority of their time locally they could better represent what their constituents need. Send them home.. make them pay for their own local office out of the 6 figure job they get from the taxpayers.
