end starvation as only end of life choice to fatally ill patients.

Created by B.N. on February 05, 2014

It is currently a Law that when end of life decision is made and agreed by an Ethics committee for fatally ill patients that the only legal way is starvation. Although deemed humane, the affect left on the loved ones are devastating.
Natalie Marilyn Newton, 21 months old took eight days before passing in her young mothers arms. The emotional effects of the process are inhumane, torturous and cruel.
Why is it that a fatally injured dog is euthanized quickly and painlessly under the premise of humane and a murderer is euthanized under the premise of humane but a two year old baby has to be starved while her family on looks in horror as the system deems this humane and to euthanize inhumane! Change this law and give the decision to deem humane back to the patients and loved ones.
