End the subsidization of Oil Companies.

Help bring down oil prices. Given that oil companies have shut down "excess refinery capacity" as one of their various methods of pushing gasoline prices higher without real justification. And since the price of petroleum products continues to increase the cost to every American through higher transportation costs that also drive up costs of all commodities (such as food), we request an extensive investigation into oil companies actual costs. We also request the government require all gasoline companies MUST restructure their internal accounting practices to make their real costs of exploring and producing oil products transparent especially in how they determine the price of their products. Finally, we need federal supervision of these companies to prevent pricing abuse of the public.
