End Switchblade Knife Act (Pub.L. 85–623, 72 Stat. 562, enacted on August 12, 1958, and codified in 15 U.S.C. §§ 1241–12

I am proposing an end to the The Switchblade Knife Act (Pub.L. 85–623, 72 Stat. 562, enacted on August 12, 1958, and codified in 15 U.S.C. §§ 1241–1245) The fact that Automatic knives are on the "Prohibited Weapons list" next to assault rifles is appalling. Its Stifling the productivity and technological innovations of knife manufactures across the country. Ending this Useless legislation would create new jobs and create new businesses. I also can not find a Single Instance of Prosecution under this ban and most Americans are unaware of the law even existing. This law was put into effect in a different time. A time when Youth gangs were armed with stiletto knives. This law was created to reduce gang violence. "Stiletto" Knives are the farthest thing from a 21st century gang members mind.
