End the taboo of drinking early and lower the drinking age to 18

Since the drinking age has been set at 21 it has only made drinking worse. Colleges have underground drinking parties which have binge drinking. Binge drinking in kids between 18-20 has increased because of the taboo. The taboo of drinking makes youths want to disobey the law and drink younger. At 18 you can serve in the army and die in a war but can't have a drink. At 18 you can move , buy a house and car , be sued but can't buy alcohol. Changing the drinking age would help lower the youth from binge drinking because it would make it safer. Furthermore changing the age back to 18 would make young adults more equal to someone 21 and over .
