Home buyers in 2008 were given a tax 'credit' of $7500. However, it was not a credit at all but a loan that still must be repaid. Buyers in 2009 and 2010 were GIVEN $8000. This is incredibly unfair to those who purchased in 2008. Make the government wave this patently UNFAIR discrimination against people who purchsed in 2008! Our houses are even MORE underwater than 2009/10 purchasers and we are given this hideous added debt burden.
