Created by M.B. on June 06, 2013

The petition to end the taxation of full-time and part-time on a degree track students at qualified educational institutions would save millions of young Americans billions of dollars.
The tax money could be put into a four year savings account or be paid directly to lender(s).

Savings account: Given to the student six months after completion of a degree. Following the idea of student loan repayment. The money could be rolled over if pursuing a higher degree.
or
Loan Payment: Paid directly to lenders; following aforementioned policies of a savings account.

As of the 2013 Tax rate brackets, filling Single and earning $8,925 - $36,250 would result in a median taxation of $3388.13.

Over the course of four and a half years that would be median savings or loan repayment of $15,000.
