We the people respectfully request the current administration, at the earliest possible time commute or vacate all federal prison sentences concerning marijuana possession, distribution or smuggling. Many of these prisoners are serving sentences of life without the possibility of parole. They are not mass murderers. They are not terrorists dedicated to our destruction. They are, for the most part, modern day moon shiners. Federal decriminalizing of pot is coming. Common sense will prevail and take this resource away from drug cartels. We ask only that these draconian, cruel and inhumane sentences be set aside.
