end the trade embargo against Cuba in order to normalize trade relations and allow unrestricted U.S. travel.

Created by J.M. on January 27, 2013

Petition to stop the U.S. trade embargo and U.S. travel restrictions against Cuba. The current embargo is an acknowledged foreign policy failure that has proven 52 years of U.S. unilateral trade sanctions will not/can not change Cuba. U.S. needs to open markets to Cuba and allow private individuals to seek to invest, trade, travel, vacation and live in Cuba. If the White House works with Congress to end the embargo, more positive change will occur in the first 24 months of our new relationship with Cuba than has been lost in the last 52 years at a cost of almost 60 billion dollars. U.S. foreign policy has been hijacked by Florida special interest groups that represent a minority group of less than 200,000. White House and Congress must act in the best interest of entire nation.
