The embargo only hurts the Cuban people, and serves no function in advancing the interests of the United States in any way. It may have made sense at one point in history, but the time has come for this cold war relic to be put to rest.
Allow Cuba to become a nation reborn, with a thriving tourist industry and surely reforms will follow there. The Cuban people are our brothers and sisters in humanity, not a political football to be tossed around.
