End the trade embargo with Cuba. Our embargo of Cuba has accomplished nothing to benefit the people of cuba or the US.

Since 1960, the United States has enforced an embargo against the communist government under the dicatorship of Fidel Castro. Although at the time, and throughout the history of the US-Cuban relationship, an embargo seemed like an appropriate response to Castro's horrible behaviour, the times now have changed, Castro is on his way out by virtue of death, and the inevitable is to occur in the very near future. The opportunities of investment and trade are great, however, the US will be at a disadvantage despite the geographical closeness of our two countries, since China, and other countries have made inroads into the Cuban economy and the future of the coming open markets. Lifting the embargo will have two effects, one, it will stimulate the economy of both the US and promote democracy.
