Daylight savings time does not hold any economic value to the American people. Each year proves there are negative health affects associated with the time change. Polls suggest the American people are no longer valuing it. The economy that benefitted from daylight savings no longer exists. Energy savings are negligible. Internationally, this change will not cause issues for businesses because many developed nations observing DST do so in an uncoordinated manner. We ask that the president investigate the abolition of the tradition of daylight savings time.
