End the Sanctions banning free travel & trade with Cuba. They were established for good reason in the 1960's but the world is a much different place. Overturn Cuban Democracy Act & Helms-Burton Act.
This will create jobs in both countries. American Oil Services Companies, Hotels, Food, Automobiles, and more will see their orders rise. History tells us that Democracy cannot be forced upon a people but we KNOW that Capitalism and Trade CAN lead to Democracy.
If these sanctions were ever going to lead to Democracy, it would have by now. It is Ludicrous that an American is prevented from visiting Cuba when the same person can travel to North Korea, Syria or Iran. As Americans we should be able to travel freely to anywhere on earth as long as the host country will let us in.
