New TSA rules require passengers at some overseas airports for flights destined for the United States, to turn on electronic devices before boarding. It has been made unclear what will happen with devices, which are unable to be turned on in a reasonable amount of time. The reasoning for this rule has been declared as new terrorist attack methods. The rules do not change the fact that in a laptop, smartphone, or tablet, there is simply not enough space to provide the capacity for to do anything truly destructive during a flight. Rescind these rules and return some amount of sanity to air travel.
