We the people, the 99%, demand that our voices stop being ignored by Washington's partisan gridlocked, two-party system. Gerrymandering preserves the statues quo (of broken, ineffective political discourse) by allowing politicians to continually manipulate redistricting in favor of preserving their already-established political strangleholds. Dissolve these politically-manipulated electoral districts. We the people demand to elect our national congressional representatives by STATEWIDE POPULAR vote. WE will end our country's pathetic political gridlock and have OUR voices finally be heard by adopting this pro-'direct democracy' initiative into law.
