end the tyranny of corporations over culture and personal freedom

Created by I.G. on May 07, 2013

Intellectual property law benefits, almost exclusively, large corporations having the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars required for legal action and able to use the courts, law enforcement and the secret service to intimidate, obstruct and bankrupt individuals and small businesses who don't have the years or financial resources for legal battles, regardless of the merits of the cases, stifling competition and unreasonably limiting freedom.

Too many patents are issued for "inventions" which are not new or are obvious.

Copyright is excessive and there is gross imbalance of power between multi-national corporations and individuals who are subject to being bankrupted, criminalized and incarcerated for no good reason or for the sake of trivial commercial interests (tens of dollars).
