End The Unconstitutional 48 hr Hold

Created by W.C. on February 12, 2014

The Birmingham Division of the F.B.I. describes the 48 hour hold as follows;

The 48 hour hold applies to any person of interest in an investigation. By law, you can be detained, or held, for 48 hours without having to be given Miranda or be charged. After that time, if there is further evidence to warrant an investigation, you can then be given Miranda warning and arrested. If not, then you can be released.

The U.S. Supreme Court has never authorized an investigative detention, except for the BRIEF TERRY and/or TRAFFIC STOP. However, people are being forcibly detained without probable cause and solely for investigative purposes. These people are lawfully justified in the use of physical (if not deadly) force to defend themselves from these unlawful arrest.G-d Bless the Thin Blue Line?
