End the unconstitutional and discriminatory 21+ drinking law.

This petition is to end the United States 21+ drinking law or to revert to the pre-National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984. The law itself labels young people as a criminal class who cannot participate in legal safe drinking, and increases the likelihood of binge drinking, and drunk driving. Countries which have lowered their drinking ages to 17, 18 or 19 have seen a huge drop in the amount of alcohol related deaths compared to the United States.
I find it odd young people can be trusted with carrying a M16 into combat (which is capable of killing 20 people in under a minute) yet they cannot be trusted with a single drop of beer that their parents might buy for them when they come home.
