End the unconstitutional and discriminatory Smith Act

As an act that was created in 1940, a time when communism was considered to be the biggest threat in the world, and when people were still being scared with propaganda of "reefer madness", we believe that the Smith act is outdated and unconstitutional. The smith act was used to prosecute innocent people simply for having certain ideologies. A clear violation of the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. As this act is a clear violation of our rights as United States citizens, we demand that it be repealed.
